Early access is prioritised for existing Reflective Home customers with a learner in Years 7 to 8. Places are limited. All three assessments and the complete self-awareness profile are fully available now, alongside career discovery tools and AI navigator. Subject choice guidance, the tertiary pathway navigator, the CV builder, and short courses are in development — subject and tertiary tools launch in July 2026.

We are working with Yenza to localise Australian curriculum and tertiary pathway data. We will notify all registered families as soon as these tools are live. Early access families carry over automatically with no disruption to their profile.

The full platform is $99 AUD once-off — no subscription and no recurring charges. All future tools that are added to the platform are included in that price. Early access families try the platform free first.

Each of the three assessments takes around 7–10 minutes, so the full set takes approximately 20–30 minutes in total. They can be done in one session or spread across a few days — whatever suits your teenager.

Free quizzes typically produce a generic personality label with a vague list of careers. Orientate runs three validated assessments across different dimensions of who your teenager is, then links the combined profile to career directions — and from July 2026, to subject and pathway planning. The depth and longevity are genuinely incomparable.

Yes. The platform does not assume an ATAR pathway. The upcoming tertiary pathway navigator will treat TAFE, direct entry, apprenticeships, and bridging programs as equal, first-class options alongside university routes — reflecting the reality of how most homeschool graduates enter higher education and work.

Orientate runs three validated assessments — a vocational interest inventory, a personality assessment, and a learning style tool — and combines them into a single integrated career profile. Career planning built on that depth of self-knowledge produces genuinely different, and more confident, decisions. Further assessments covering values and EQ are added at public launch.

Orientate uses the same validated frameworks that educational psychologists and careers counsellors use — the Holland Occupational Themes and Big Five personality model (with further frameworks added at public launch) — and delivers them as an interactive, ongoing platform for $99 AUD once-off, rather than a one-off report costing $1,500 to $3,000. It is not a clinical assessment service, but for career guidance and pathway planning purposes it provides exceptional depth at a fraction of the cost.

Absolutely. While Orientate has been developed with Australian homeschool families in mind — and the early access program is currently open to existing Reflective Home families — the platform works equally well for any motivated teenager, regardless of how they learn. Whether your child attends a traditional school, is in a flexi-school arrangement, or is schooled in some other way entirely, the assessments, career discovery tools, and pathway tools are just as relevant. Career self-awareness is universal. We simply started with homeschoolers because that’s the community we know best.
