Maths Pathway respects your right to privacy and this policy sets out how we collect and treat your personal information in connection with the Maths Pathway service. Maths Pathway is provided by Maths Pathway Pty Ltd (ABN 95 166 061 516). “Personal information” is information we hold which is identifiable as being about you.

• names of students using the Maths Pathway service
• names and email addresses of teachers using the Maths Pathway service
• teacher timetables
• results of student assessments
• student and teacher interactions with the Maths Pathway service (such as date and time of login, completion and marking of tests, and completion of learning activities)

We collect personal information from you in a variety of ways, including: when you interact with us electronically or in person; when you access our website; and when we provide our services to you.

We use your information to provide the Maths Pathway service to you. We also use it to improve our service and to notify you of opportunities that we think you might be interested in.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the sub-processors and business partners who help us deliver, support, monitor and improve the service, as listed below. All Buyer Data is stored and processed within the Australian regions of Microsoft Azure. Some personal information may be accessed or processed by these providers, or by our personnel, from outside Australia as shown. Where personal information is accessed or disclosed overseas it is protected by contractual data-protection terms (including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable), consistent with Australian Privacy Principle 8.

• Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Pty Ltd): cloud hosting and security monitoring. Data categories: all service data. Stored and accessed in Australia. Attestations: ISO 27001, SOC 1/2/3, IRAP (PROTECTED).
• Instaclustr / NetApp: managed database and 24/7 support and monitoring. Data categories: all service data. Stored in Australia; support access from USA, UK, EU, India, New Zealand and Australia. Attestations: ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II.
• Google Analytics (Google LLC): website and teacher-usage analytics to help us improve the service. Data categories: teacher usage and interaction data, online identifiers (IP, cookies). Processed globally, including the USA. Subject to Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com.au/intl/en-GB/policies/privacy/. Attestations: ISO 27001, SOC 2/3.
• Pipedrive (Pipedrive OÜ): customer relationship management for sales and support. Data categories: staff and teacher contact data only (name, email); no student data. Processed and accessed in the EU and USA. Subject to Pipedrive’s privacy policy: https://www.pipedrive.com/en/privacy. Attestations: ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II.
• ResponsiveVoice: text-to-speech accessibility feature. Data categories: content text rendered to speech only; no student names or identifiers (no personal information). Processed in the USA.

Maths Pathway runs on Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. Processing and storage of Personal Information remains in the Australian regions of Microsoft Azure.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information using current industry standards and security measures, including TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest.

To help us provide 24/7 monitoring of the security and availability of your data we use the services of Instaclustr, who are ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certified.

In order to provide services and support, our staff may access your information from Australia and South Africa. In order to provide 24/7 support, Instaclustr staff may access your data from the locations their support staff work from, which includes the USA, UK, EU, India, New Zealand and Australia. Where personal information is accessed overseas it is protected by contractual data-protection terms (including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable), consistent with Australian Privacy Principle 8.

Access to the Maths Pathway system is protected by username and password access control. You can access and update your personal information directly on the Maths Pathway system, and/or by contacting us on privacy@instructive.co. We may charge a reasonable administration fee for this access.

If you have any complaints about our privacy practices, please feel free to send in details of your complaints to privacy@instructive.co. We take complaints very seriously and will respond shortly after receiving written notice of your complaint.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the version number and last-reviewed date shown above and in the change log below, and publish the revised version on our website.

We will notify users of material changes to this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions. A user notification system for these changes will be implemented by the end of December 2026. Until that system is in place, each revised version is published on this page with an updated version number and date, which constitutes notice of the change.

When you come on to our website we may collect certain information such as browser type, operating system, website visited immediately before coming to our site, etc. This information is used in an aggregated manner to analyse how people use our site, such that we can improve our service.

As is very common for companies, we use cookies on our website. Cookies are not malicious programs that access or damage your computer. We use cookies to improve the experience of people using our website.
